Nike Playlist (formerly “PLAYlist”) is a kids’ YouTube series that aims to de-stigmatize access to sport. The episodes, hosted pro skater and prodigy Sky Brown, invites professional athletes to participate in games and challenges that promote activity for a kid audience
I was fortunate to lead all aspects of content production for seasons 1-6 of this series, which began production in 2019 and is still active on YouTube. When the pandemic hit midway through Season 3, we adapted the show from a large production set format to Zoom and UGC-style productions. Some of my favorite memories in 2020 are with guest athletes and Sky on Zoom filming the games together. That said, I do not miss the anxiety of shipping random props to athlete’s homes and hoping they arrive on time.
