What is a Creative Producer? For me, it’s a catch-all title that means I’ve been working in production, post and creative agencies making content for 14+ years. Since this profession is known for being non-linear, here are my cliff notes: - Started out as a grip at age 21 in Los Angeles. - Worked in indie film for several years learning the ropes as a Production Manager and 1st AD. - Took a detour into unscripted / reality production for about 4 years, living on the road and serving as a Production Manager for network shows on History, TLC, Discovery and other networks. - Moved to NYC and transitioned to branded and commercial production for big and small agencies.
